Text: Proverbs 3:5-6
“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct they paths. ”
Trust means placing complete confidence in the Lord to take care of us. Complete confidence in the Lord will lead to constant compliance with His will.
The above verses tell us we are to trust with all of our heart (and not just a part of it), and we are to acknowledge Him in all of our ways (and not just some of our ways).
God wants all of us. He wants...
- ...our faith
- ...our trust
- ...our life
- ...our thoughts
- ...our actions
He does not want a part of us. Only a full commitment will please the Lord.
