The Unity of Prophetic Terminology

It is vital to understand that so much of the common terminology that the New Testament writers used is terminology brought directly over from the Old Testament prophets. As in any subject of study, an apprehension of the meaning and the consistency of terms is important. There is much more to prophecy than merely lining up the events in their correct time order.
The particular terminology introduced in the Old Testament books and incorporated into the New Testament writings helps to form a “unity of terminology” from start to finish.
Just a few of the terms examined in this book are:
The day of the Lord
Since biblical prophecy is to move us to the point of having a profound spiritual influence over us, it is our deep desire and prayer for this to be true for all of us --
